Privacy, plainly.
A small reading site still relies on web hosting. This page separates the features in our pages from processing that may happen when they are delivered.
What these pages contain
Cupcake Fieldnotes provides static informational articles. The pages do not provide forms, accounts, comments, newsletters, or checkout. They do not ask you to submit a name, email address, payment details, or baking information. The delivered site assets are local CSS and SVG files; there are no embedded videos, third-party fonts, advertising scripts, or analytics scripts in the authored pages.
Hosting and request information
The hosting and delivery infrastructure, including Keitaro, may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, request time, and other request metadata. Hosting may log requests or use cookies for delivery and measurement. The absence of tracking code in the authored pages does not mean the hosting is cookieless or keeps no logs.
This notice does not promise a particular retention period or describe unverified infrastructure settings. It does not guarantee anonymity, regulatory compliance, or that all technical processing can be controlled from these pages. Server-side processing is separate from the content files you read.
Your browser choices
You can review, block, or clear cookies using your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking cookies can affect how hosting services behave. Browser controls do not necessarily prevent server request logging. Avoid adding personal or sensitive information to a URL when sharing a page.
Other sites and changes
If you leave this site for another website, that destination has its own privacy practices. This notice applies to Cupcake Fieldnotes, not to any similarly named bakery or former operator of this domain. If the site later adds features that collect information, this explanation should be revised to reflect the actual features and processing.
